Creative Campaign: Man vs. Wild

May 10th, 2010 by nora

Not exactly my cup of tea, as far as fine dining is concerned, but these print ads do a bang-up job of conveying the adventurous meals of outdoorsman Bear Grylls as he makes his way through the wilderness in Man Vs. Wild.

Classic Art in 3D – Samsung Creative Campaign

April 21st, 2010 by nora

This Samsung spot introduces the world to the hidden 3D depths of some classic paintings. Puts a whole new twist on the somber attitude of Whistler’s Mother! (Bonus: Fans of The Mighty Boosh might recognize the voice in this piece. Here’s a hint).

(Thanks to Kirin’s wife for the find!)

Creative Campaign: Hampton Inn’s Friendly Service

March 29th, 2010 by nora

As a fan of the retort, “The world’s tiniest violin plays for you,” I greatly appreciate Hampton Inn’s snappy take on customer service. (Though hopefully their staff is a bit more accommodating when it comes to something as basic as towels!)

Creative Campaign: Alice in Wonderland Billboard

February 2nd, 2010 by nora

A movie this big warrants some eye-catching adverts, and this side-of-the-building billboard on Sunset Blvd. certainly garners some attention. Playing on the “what’s real, what’s not” element of Wonderland itself, the building is “pushed” up to reveal the billboard featuring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

With increasing popularity in using these gigantic building fronts for movie advertising, Disney definitely flexed its marketing muscle with this large-scale showcase of a featured character set in the scenery of Wonderland.

We’ve recently been emerged in the madness of Wonderland ourselves, having recently completed a trailer for the movie, which can be seen here.
